Ram Viranjan,  a distinguished Indian artist, academic, and curator whose multifaceted career bridges creative practice, pedagogy, and international cultural exchange. With over three decades of teaching experience, he has played a significant role in shaping art education, serving as Senior Professor and Dean at Kurukshetra University.

Trained in painting at the University of Allahabad, Dr. Viranjan further pursued a Ph.D., establishing a strong foundation in both studio practice and research. His work reflects a thoughtful dialogue between tradition and contemporary consciousness, where colour, form, and ideas converge to narrate evolving cultural stories.

His artistic journey includes numerous solo and group exhibitions across India and internationally, with presentations in countries such as Russia, Romania, Kazakhstan, China, and South Korea. His works have been showcased in prestigious platforms including Lalit Kala Akademi exhibitions and international biennales, and are part of prominent public and private collections.

Beyond his studio practice, Dr. Viranjan is also an accomplished writer and researcher, contributing extensively to contemporary Indian art discourse.
